There has been another mass shooting in Australia, so let me give you a breakdown of what we know, since mainstream media apparently won’t without being deceiving.
“They have ruled out terrorism, even though they don’t have a motive.”
Thanks mainstream media for telling me what not to think. I’d have thought that this would have at least counted as domestic terrorism if it turns out to be a citizen, but thankfully you’ve cleared it up for me despite the fact you don’t actually know. I’m sure there was a perfectly good reason for them going room to room in a hotel and randomly shooting strangers that ISN’T related to terrorism, foreign or domestic. (Dare I say it’s a mental illness problem either, because it’s the gun’s fault every time, am I right?)
“This is only Australia’s 3rd mass shooting, since banning guns.”
Actually, that’s not true. Apparently in Australia, you need to have 4 or more fatalities in order to qualify as a “mass shooting.” None of this “3 or more shit” everyone else uses…and there’s definitely no counting of survivors or anyone that pulled through in their definition of it. You either die in an Australian shoot out, or you don’t count toward the stats.
That’s also probably why you didn’t hear about the drive-by shooting that injured 6 people and killed 1 at an Australian club just last month either, because as you can see…gun laws work.
Don’t even talk about all the people mass murdered through other other means than guns, either. It detracts from the fact that all they did was change the mode of murder, and remove the ability for honest citizens to defend themselves. It’s normal for someone to have the time to beat 5 people to death by hand before getting stopped, am I right?
“The suspect was known to police, had an ankle monitor on, and was just released on parole.”
Way to go, Australian justice system! I’m so glad all those strict gun laws stop mentally ill criminals with sordid pasts from obtaining firearms. Oh, it was also a sawed off shotgun too…so the left can’t even blame “assault weapons” or whatever they want to call it this time.
Don’t expect to find a name anywhere either, even though the suspect was known to police.
And there were tons of eye witnesses…
So there’s the breakdown. Gun laws work and the media totally doesn’t lie about it. (I’m kidding, of course.)
