The world has changed. You can hear it in the broadcasts. You can see it on the networks. You can read it in social media. Much that once was, is lost. Too few now live who remember. It began with the forging of the 2016 election polls. A 98% chance was given to Hillary Clinton, the most entrenched, corrupt, and ambitious all candidates. A 1.7% chance was given to Donald Trump, who above all else desired winning. For within the election was bound the authority and the power to govern the nation.
One by one, the pollsters and pundits anointed Hillary the winner. But there were some who resisted. A last alliance of men and women marched against the armies of Liberaltopia. On the plains of Flyover Country, they fought for the freedom of the United States. Donald Trump, candidate of the Deplorables, took up the nomination, and Hillary, the enemy of the free peoples of the U.S. was defeated.
The Presidency passed to Trump, who had this one chance to destroy Evil forever. But he didn’t throw Hillary in jail. And some things that should not have been forgotten were lost. History became legend, legend became myth. And in the gloom of Democrat defeat, the Deep State plotted. Darkness crept back into the media. Rumor grew of a shadow in D.C., whispers of a nameless partisanship, and the Deep State perceived its time had come.
Let us look back to the days of yore, all the way back to a time known as “a few years ago!” It was a time of elves and dwarves and men, and even of hobbits… at least in theaters (The Desolation of Smaug, 2013).
2013
Robert S. Mueller III steps down as Director of the FBI. James B. Comey becomes Director of the FBI.
2015–2016
Under Director Comey, the FBI opens an investigation into Clinton’s handling of classified material, focused on information shared using her private email server.
- “Our investigation looked at whether there is evidence classified information was improperly stored or transmitted on that personal system, in violation of a federal statute making it a felony to mishandle classified information either intentionally or in a grossly negligent way…”
The classified information was there.
The investigation found 52 e-mail chains contained classified information on Hillary Clinton’s collection of servers.
- 8 email chains contained Confidential Information
- 36 email chains contained Secret Information
- 8 email chains contained TOP SECRET INFORMATION
The classified information was improperly stored and transmitted.
- “None of these e-mails should have been on any kind of unclassified system, but their presence is especially concerning because all of these e-mails were housed on unclassified personal servers not even supported by full-time security staff…”
- “But even if information is not marked ‘classified’ in an e-mail, participants who know or should know that the subject matter is classified are still obligated to protect it.”
- “…there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.”
The classified information was accessed by hostile forces.
- “We do assess that hostile actors gained access to the private commercial e-mail accounts of people with whom Secretary Clinton was in regular contact from her personal account.”
While Hillary Clinton was under investigation, Attorney General Loretta Lynch met privately with Former President Bill Clinton.
- June 2016: The private meeting occurred at the Sky Harbor International Airport, aboard a parked plane
- Senator Chris Coons, D-Delaware, said the meeting “…sends the wrong signal…”
- Director of the FBI, James Comey, told the Senate Judiciary Committee, “A number of things had gone on which I can’t talk about yet, that made me worry that the department leadership could not credibly complete the investigation and decline prosecution without grievous damage to the American people’s confidence in the justice system.”
Despite all of Director Comey’s own findings, what did he recommend?
- “Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case… To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions… we are expressing to Justice our view that no charges are appropriate in this case.”
- TRANSLATION: Yeah, she did it. If anybody else did it, they would be in big trouble, but laws are for little people.
Excrement struck the rotary appliance as the Left expressed its displeasure.

Our Lady of It’s-Her-Turn-Because-She-Has-a-Vagina got spanked, then what? Russia-Russia-Russia was born.
- January 14, 2017: Representative. John Lewis of Georgia: “I don’t see the president-elect as a legitimate president. I think the Russians participated in helping this man get elected and they helped destroy the candidacy of Hillary Clinton.”
Congress launched Russia investigations (yes, plural, from The Department of Redundancy Department).
FUN FACT: Congress can impeach the President, but it cannot prosecute government officials.
Investigation #1: The Senate Intelligence Committee launches an investigation.
- Investigation began Jan. 10, 2017
- Richard M. Burr is Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee
- Mark R. Warner is the ranking member of the Senate Intelligence Committee
Investigation #2: The Senate Judiciary Committee launches an investigation.

- Investigation began Mar. 22, 2017
- Jason Chaffetz is Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee
- Elijah E. Cummings is the ranking member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee
The Department of Justice Special Counsel launched a Russia investigation (that’s investigation #5).
FUN FACT: A Special Counsel cannot impeach the President, but it can prosecute government officials.
FUN FACT: President Trump can fire the special counsel for any reason; he did not do so.
Investigation begins May. 17, 2017
Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the investigation, but failed to disclose meetings with the Russian ambassador, Sergey I. Kislyak, while acting as an adviser to the Trump campaign
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is in charge of the DOJ’s investigation
President Trump fires FBI Director James Comey based on the recommendations of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Attorney General Jeff Sessions
The Left goes, “Reeeeeeee!”
Senator Chuck Schumer, D-New York, says, “If Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein does not appoint an independent special prosecutor, every American will rightly suspect that the decision to fire Director Comey was part of a cover-up,”
Senator Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont, says, “Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein now has no choice but to appoint a Special Counsel. His integrity, and the integrity of the entire Justice Department, are at stake,” said Leahy. “There simply is no avoiding the compelling fact that this cascading situation demands the prompt appointment of an independent Special Counsel to pick up the pieces of these investigations.”
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appoints special prosecutor (Robert S. Meuller III).
- Former Director of the FBI James Comey was fired by Trump (May. 19, 2017).
Special Counsel Robert S. Meuller is investigating. He is a Former Director of the FBI… and James Comey’s predecessor.
- “Mr. Mueller and Mr. Comey are close — a relationship forged while standing up to President George W. Bush’s use of executive power. Mr. Mueller backed up Mr. Comey, then the deputy attorney general, in March 2004 after he threatened to resign when the White House overruled the Justice Department finding that domestic wiretapping without a court order was unconstitutional.”
Time passed. Money was spent.
The Left collectively bit its lip and closed its eyes to fantasies of the Meuller Messiah delivering them from the Anti-Hillary. “…almost there. Almost there! Any second now…!”
The Department of Justice Delivered an Indictment about Russia.
On Feb. 16, 2018, almost 9 months to the day since launching the investigation, the Department of Justice Special Counsel, Robert Mueller, delivered a 37-page indictment on Russian interference!!!! The defendants were indicted for operating social media pages and groups designed to attract U.S. audiences, buying political advertisements on social media, staging political rallies, and promoting or disparaging candidates to interfere with the U.S. political system, including the 2016 U.S. presidential election. But…
- There were no charges for hacking the networks of either political party.
- There were no charges for hacking electronic voting.
- They were charges for posting mean things, holding rallies, and paying for advertising.
- The listed defendants included… no one except a handful of Russians.
On Feb. 16, 2018, the Department of Justice Special Counsel, Robert Mueller, delivered no indictment of President Donald J. Trump, no indictment of Trump’s campaign team, and no indictment of Trump’s administration.
On Feb. 16, 2018, Deputy Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein, clearly stated there was no allegation defendants actually affected the outcome of the election.
On Feb. 16, 2018, Deputy Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein, clearly stated there was no allegation that any American knowingly participated in the Russian operation.
IT WAS A NOTHING BURGER!
The Left, despite all of their braying over, “Russia-Russia-Russia!” and, “Russian hacking,” and “Constitutional crisis,” and despite all of their onanistic fantasies of, “perp walks,” and, “impeachment,” and, “Hillary magically wins by forfeit,” all they had was a list of Russians who pretended to be Americans. In the words of Willy Wonka, “So you get nothing! You lose! Good day, sir!”
Don’t feel too badly for the Left. For the Causeheads, Russia-Russia-Russia is so 5 minutes ago. Some have moved on to a new crisis du jour (assault weapons) and a new bogeyman (the NRA). Others have already shifted to the next new thing. Still, the faithful are convinced that was just the appetizer for the main course. Like Linus, they are just certain the Great Meuller Pumpkin will appear and bring them political toys…next month, or next year, or aaaaany second now.
So, what have we seen?
- “Racist!” didn’t work.
- “Sexist!” didn’t work.
- “Homophobe!” didn’t work.
- “Islamophobe!” didn’t work.
- “Transphobe!” didn’t work.

- “Global warming!” didn’t work.
- “Anti-intellectual!” didn’t work.

- “Koi fish!” didn’t work.
- “Net neutrality!” didn’t work.
“Stormy Daniels!” seems to be the latest smear campaign. Can anyone explain how an alleged decade-old affair between two consenting adults merits a federal investigation? Did it occur in the Oval Office? Did the President lie about it while under oath? Back in your dad’s day, the majority of liberal talking heads would have told you actual perjury about an affair with a subordinate was no one’s business. Apparently the rules change depending on the (D) or (R) after your name. How convenient.
Are we supposed to believe it is important enough to justify raiding the office of Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen?
As reported by the Washington Post, “A federal investigation into what role President Trump’s personal attorney played in facilitating payments to two women who alleged affairs with Trump is also examining the lawyer’s interactions with a bank that gave him loans against his taxi business… During their search, federal prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York also sought information related to Cohen’s October 2016 payment of $130,000 to adult-film star Stormy Daniels, who claims she had an affair with Trump… The inquiry was opened by the Manhattan-based U.S. attorney’s office following a referral from special counsel Robert S. Mueller III.”
I can’t be the only one that sees this whole thing as a fishing expedition, right?
“With the law books filled with a great assortment of crimes, a prosecutor stands a fair chance of finding at least a technical violation of some act on the part of almost anyone. In such a case, it is not a question of discovering the commission of a crime and then looking for the man who has committed it, it is a question of picking the man and then searching the law books, or putting investigators to work, to pin some offense on him. It is in this realm-in which the prosecutor picks some person whom he dislikes or desires to embarrass, or selects some group of unpopular persons and then looks for an offense, that the greatest danger of abuse of prosecuting power lies. It is here that law enforcement becomes personal, and the real crime becomes that of being unpopular with the predominant or governing group, being attached to the wrong political views, or being personally obnoxious to or in the way of the prosecutor himself.” – – Former Attorney General, Robert Jackson
